Longans are also called “dragon eyes” because they look like eyeballs when they are peeled.

In Part A we learned about germs and how to CLEAN things to get rid of and prevent these germs from multiplying. Now we are going to talk about the other 3 things you can do to prevent the spread of germs.

2. SEPARATE

Sometimes, bacteria can be spread from one food to another. This happens especially with raw meat so keep these foods and their juices away from foods that won’t be cooked!

Always wash cutting boards, dishes, forks, knives, and spoons with hot, soapy water after they touch raw meat.
