Keeping cold foods cold is one of the most important rules you can follow to help fight bacteria!

Make sure to keep these foods cold:

Meat, chicken, fish and eggs

Milk products

milk and cheese

cut fruits and vegetables

And any leftovers.

Make sure to put leftovers in the refrigerator within 2 hours.

Bacteria like to grow in foods as they get warm.
