The red stripe is for fruits!

Fruits make a great snack. You can put a piece of fresh fruit in your backpack and have one everyday. Dried, frozen and canned fruit are great, too. Did you know there is a dried fruit snack made from grapes? It’s raisins

The blue stripe is the milk group.

Did you know that foods in this group include more than just the milk we drink? There are foods made from milk, also. Can you name any? Place your cursor on the milk carton to see some examples.

These foods are very important for building strong bones and teeth because they have a lot of calcium.
You should choose foods from the milk group that are low in fat or fat-free.
