You can see how important this fluid is since so much of your weight is water.

Water has four main jobs in the body.

1. WATER HELPS KEEP YOU AT THE RIGHT TEMPERATURE!

When you exercise, or are outside on a hot day, you sweat.

Sweat is heat leaving your body through water. This is an important job of the excretory system (the excretory system removes cell waste from the blood).

Some animals, like pigs don't sweat. The only way they can cool down is to roll around in dirt and mud.

It's a good thing we sweat!
